Why is there even an account dedicated to feminism - or basically putting girls above guys - shouldn't you promote fair gender equality instead?

Feminism is the belief of equality between two genders. And women are hardy represented in literature as strong so that isn't equal. And that's what the movement is about

I have a story in which the woman is strong but she slowly comes to her inner strength. At times she's strong and other times she relies on her Knight. Who this still fall under your tag?

That's a bit tricky, I would say yes because she is strong and not every woman can be strong all the time. So yes it counts!

Why force people to write about things that have nothing to do with your feminism related project? Women don't need to have children. Some people like their man stronger. Does that matter? Why are you trying to make us write about poc? This project was a good idea. Seems stupid now.

I am not forcing you to write about anything you don't want to. The choice is all up to you. Those were given as examples but now I'm regretting ever making this project because of all the hate people are giving me for it

Hey, big fan of this idea. I was wondering when the book of the week will be announced and when nominations start again?

Hey there, Book of the Week announcement will be up once I tally up all the votes. I was honestly really on top of it but then I got a ton of last minute ones and the winner by a long shot turned out to be someone who both rigged the voting and also didn't have a story that qualified so I have to get back to all those messages and also count all votes sent in last minute.
Nominations for this upcoming week start as soon as last weeks nominations ended! I blame me not being on top of things for your confusion. [sorry about that] But don't worry. This didn't stop. I'm just overly behind [per usual].

I like the idea of the campaign and all I just worry a bit about how it's worded. It comes across (to me at least) like trying to boost one group of people instead of fighting for the equality of groups...idk sorry if I'm a bother

well honestly it is doing both. the initial goal of the campaign is to boost powerful women as main characters in literature which in turn fights for equality. men are always showcased as extremely powerful in literature. it's a woman's turn. hope this makes sense

Hi, I want to write my story in another language but you told a girl you wouldn't be able to read it so it wouldn't count towards Book of the Week. Isn't that unfair?

Well it's not unfair because I cannot properly judge it if I can't understand it. The best alternative would be to have someone translate your story to English so I can read it and then it would count. It would just be a little harder because your book might be more popular written in English because more people would understand it.

Did you make this to get popular? A lot of people are making movements to be popular

I did not. I made it because it was something I valued and I thought to share it with the Wattpad Community so others could support it as well. It sort of sickens me that the only thing people have in mind while making projects is their own personal gain. Isn't the idea that you thought of something worth a look enough?

What made you come up with the project?

The simple fact that I was scrolling through my [Wattpad] library looking for a good read and I saw a book that caught my eye. It was an old book that I'd written and deleted but forgotten to remove from my library. It was called 'One of the Boys' and in that moment I wondered why more books on Wattpad weren't like that. So I started the movement.

Is there a way to sign up and be an admin for this?

Sorry, there is not. I don't need admins at the moment, I can manage on my own just fine. I love menagaing this account and unless I really honestly need to I don't think I'll need to split up the account management with anyone. Sorry.

I tagged my story but you didn't add it what do I do to get my story noticed?

I'm very sorry but my family isn't at home a lot so therefore ally my work through the project is done solely on my phone on the mobile site because I cannot use the app because I don't want to Shen to deal with logging in and out of my personal account. The mobile site glitches when I check the tag so I will probably just have to devote one day a week to find the tag and add the stories with it. But for now you will have to private message me the link to your story (as I don't want them to clutter my message board). Hope you understand.

why are there two accounts supporting female protagonists on Wattpad instead of just one? Wouldn't it be easier? Some people say they're different but I just don't see it.

The fact that there are two are entirely coincidental. We are working on a collaboration currently. A few of the girls have spoken with me about it and I'm just waiting on a reply. I don't see the different either. Maybe ask the people on their opinion. Maybe they are different or maybe it's just the interpretation of each of the projects.

what is your view on projectfemcharacters?

It's an amaIng campaign. The girls who run it are very nice. However a few supporters of ProjectWomanUp have mentioned a few of them taking a jab at me every now and then. I've only ever spoken with two but those girls I did speak to were very kind to me throughout our conversation.

how do you get so many followers so fast?

There is no way to get followers fast. ProjectWomanUp has been on Wattpad for a few days and it has over a thousand followers - which is mind blowing. But my personal account has been on Wattpad for over a year without even half the success the campaign is getting. So I actually don't know how to properly answer your question. Sorry.
