I agree and there's evidence too. There are MANY people who claim to be christians but don't follow in the least what Christianity stands for and is for. That's like claiming to be a doctor, just for visiting a hospital regularly. The thing is, you need to study your b off in order to become a doctor. You can't become a doctor just like that; by visiting a hospital. You need to do your part and it requires a lot of work and SACRIFICE and time. It's the same thing with 'christians' and Christianity. You can call yourself a christian but if your doings say otherwise, consider yourself a liar. Being a Christian, a true Christian, requires a certain way of living.
2 Corinthians 5:17 New King James Version (NKJV)
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Lol it can be frustrating but whatevs you know? You don't live for the likes. It's best to just answer questions with honesty instead of trying to get likes. The lenght and likes of an answer shouldn't be important.
Do you mean the United States of America? Because America is a continent composed of many different countries... The USA is far far away from being the most peaceful country in the world. It's not peaceful at all. All you have to do is turn on the news channels or maybe even go out and you'll see.
I live in this world but I'm not from it.
1 John 2:15
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
I might agree with the overall message. From my understanding, the quote wants to accentuate the harshness and bad taste that regret has over discipline. Discipline will guarantee good things for our future, even though the process might not feel as good as the outcome. Regret is the result of a bad decision that could have been avoided. A bad decision might feel good in the beginning, but the outcome will be dissapointing. Having said that, the pain of discipline sounds less harsh than the pain of regret and the outcome is incredibly promising. I'd say it's worth it.
I think it depends on the girl... Some do it just because they like it, others do it because they think that's the only way they'd look pretty (they have low self esteem), others do it because they have to (celebrities, tv personalities, etc.) and so on.
I'm a firm believer that we need to respect and take care of Nature... or what's left of it anyways. But our existence is more 'entwined' with God, our heavenly Father. He is the Creator of all things after all.
Promises are not meant to be broken. If they were, then they weren't promises in the first place... just lies. Promises are made to assure someone of your compromise. A guarantee of your loyalty and faithfulness to them.
I will kindly ask you to stop sending me these links. I'm supposing you are the last anon who sent me one. I'm not trying to lose weight, at all. Have a nice day/night!
I couldn't help but think of food. I dislike Coldstone's ice cream.
What makes one happy and satisfied with life is being happy and satisfied with ourselves first. If we are, then so we will be with our lives.
