Thoughts on how smithville football's season will go

I think it's going to come down to them and Hollandale Simmons in 1A North. And this Friday will be their last big test until division play when they face Eupora. Eagles are a very talented team.

I think John has been solid to begin the season. He hasn't made too many mistakes but I would like to see him improve his completion percentage.

Thoughts on Angel Guyton from Smithville?? How do you think she's started off the season?

Haven't had the chance to see her play just yet this year but if it's anything like last year, she's going to have another superb year.

Top 5 toughest high school football games for you to pick a winner in this year?

Good question. That's hard to say right now. I think any game in Region 4-2A is going to be difficult to pick because those are 6 playoff caliber teams. So I would go with that for now.

What do you think about Itawamba football this year?

To be honest, I think they're still learning how to play with one another and dominate. They have some big time expectations and they're still getting used to having that pressure on them. Ripley and New Albany played them closer than I thought they would so we still haven't seen the best from the Indians yet.

What about MRA vs Amory

I was surprised that Amory had that tough of a time with MRA. But the Patriots are a force right now and I think Amory is still getting used to have JJ at QB instead of Z.

Whatcha think about the freshman class of hamilton softball? Anyone who sticks out??

I still think we're waiting for players to emerge from the freshman class at Hamilton in regards to softball!

What do u think about the booneville at walnut game Friday?

Sorry I missed on this question from the past. Booneville was very impressive to get the win in this one!

How does this line sound? LT- 6'3 250 JR LG-5'5 220 SR C-6'0 190 JR RG-5'9 190 SR RT-6'0 280 SO Guards are 3rd year starters, the rest at first year. Does this line sound good to you?

Very experienced and it looks like a very solid line. Would have to see them in person to get a better opinion of them!

Tcps bowling team thoughts? 2x state champs lost 2 of their 6 best this year

I think TCPS is always going to be a State Champion threat regardless of who they lose!

I think Mantachie is gonna have a real chance to beat Smithville this season in fastpitch if they play. Agree or disagree?

I know Mantachie was young last year and have a good team returning but that's a tall task to ask to defeat the Lady Noles. It's still Smithville and they're still the team to beat in that area.

I still think they're getting used to playing without their dominant seniors from last year but they'll be ready come fast pitch to defend their crown.

I know they graduated their entire secondary from a season ago so they're still working in some new faces.
